Chunxi Road
Chunxi Road, or Chunxi Pedestrian Street is located in the center of downtown Chengdu, which nearby is the Tianfu Square.
Chunxi Road is a trendy and bustling commercial strip with a long history. It was built in 1924 and renovated in 2000 to replace the old and outdated Chunxi Road. The street is nowadays a modern pedestrian center with shopping malls,luxury brand stores, boutique shops, restaurants and fast food chains. At night, huge billboards show advertisements of famous brands. Chunxi Road consists of several zones: north section, south section, west section and east section. In one of the side roads (Chunxi west/Qingnian Road) is the Kowloon Plaza.
