  • Day1 Chengdu/Mount Siguniang

    Activities for today: earthquake ruin of Xuankou Middle School

    08:00 AM, our guide will meet you at your Chengdu hotel and then drive about 5 hours to the Mount Siguniang (Four Girls Mountain). En route, we will pay a visit to the earthquake ruin of Xuankou Middle School in the town of Yingxiu in Wenchuan county. Built in 2006, the middle school had been a symbolic construction of Yingxiu town before the earthquake. Now it is a memorial site of May 12 Earthquake, 2008.

  • Day2 Mount Siguniang

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley

    Spend a whole day exploring in Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley. We will do our sightseeing on foot and by tour bus. Horse riding is available in the valleys. We don't recommend riding for safety reason.

  • Day3 Mount Siguniang/Danba

    Activities for today: Jiaju Tibetan Village

    Leave Mount Siguniang in the morning and travel south to Danba county, where you will visit the famous Jiaju Tibetan Village. This village was one of the first to be rated among Tibet's most beautiful villages by National Geographic China. It features in numerous stockade houses and watchtowers in Tibetan styles. In the village, you will have an opportunity to visit a Tibetan family.

  • Day4 Danba/Xinduqiao/Tagong/Kangding

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Tagong Grasslands, Tagong Temple, Kangding Old Town, Jingang Monastery

    Travel southward via Xinduqiao (we may make a short stop to take some photos) and onwards to Tagong, home to monasteries, scenic grasslands, devoted monks and Tibetan nomads with their thousands of thick-coated yaks. In Tagong, we will visit the beautiful Tagong Grasslands amd Tagong Temple. Then we continue on to Kangding, sacred to the Paoma Mountain and home to Han Chinese, Tibetan, Hui, Yi, Qiang,and some notable Buddhist monasteries, including Nanwu Si Monastery, Anjue Monastery and Jinggang Monastery. We will only visit the old town of Kangding and Jingang Monastery in the remainder of the day.

  • Day5 Kangding/Chengdu

    Activities for today: Anjue Monastery, Shangli Ancient Town

    After breakfast, visit Anjue Monastery. Then return to Chengdu via Shangli Ancient Town, an important courier station on the South Silk Road (the Ancient Tea Horse Road) that is the oldest international thoroughfare in China over 2,000 years ago. And it is the transit point for the "Red Army" during the Anti-Japanese War. Tour ends upon arrival at your Chengdu hotel by approximately 18:00.

Private Transfers:
Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
Entrance fees:
All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of LocalChengduTours. ZTG will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Meals:
All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
Transportation:
All the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax/ or train ticket(s) as specified in the itinerary.
