The Bifengxia Panda Base is part of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP), located in Ya'an, Sichuan Province, about 150 kilometers from Chengdu. This 5A-level scenic area is a world-class facility dedicated to panda breeding, conservation, and research, and is the world's only semi-free-range giant panda habitat. The base is home to approximately 70 giant pandas. The pandas have trained staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On this one day panda volunteer program, you will have opportunity to feed pandas, take care of panda bears, make panda food, clean panda enclosures...
