    Upon arrival at either Chengdu Shuangliu (CTU) or Chengdu Tianfu (TFU) International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel.

  • Day2 Chengdu/Ya'an/Kangding/Xinduqiao

    Activities for today: Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel, Xinduqiao

    After breakfast, we begin our 350km (7.5-8 hour) journey to Xinduqiao via Ya'an and Kangding. Though a long drive, the scenery keeps it exciting: we'll traverse China's longest tunnel—Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel—and enjoy picturesque views of the Chengdu Plain, Dadu River, and Qingyi River.

  • Day3 Xinduqiao/Daocheng

    Activities for today: Maoya Grassland

    Today's journey takes you on an epic 360km (8-hour) drive to Daocheng via Yajiang and Litang (4,014m). Along the way, you'll conquer two high mountain passes above 4,000 meters, marvel at the vast Maoya Grassland, cross the iconic Rabbit Mountain—home to the Tibetan Plateau's largest glacier relic—and pass through the stunning Haizi Mountain Nature Reserve at 4,500 meters.

  • Day4 Daocheng/Riwa Village/Yading Village

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Tibetan Family Visit, Chonggu Temple, Pearl Lake

    Your day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a 2-hour drive through picturesque countryside to the Yading Nature Reserve. En route, we'll stop at Riwa Village in Shangri-La Town to visit a local Tibetan family. After arriving at the reserve, head to Chonggu Temple on foot or horseback. Take some time to explore the temple, then continue for 15 minutes to Pearl Lake for a stunning view of the sacred Xiannairi peak. The day concludes as we return to Yading Village.

  • Day5 Yading Natural Reserve/Luorong Pasture/Daocheng

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Luorong Pasture

    Rise early to witness the sunrise over Chonggu Temple, then embark on a scenic horseback ride to Luorong Pasture, where you'll be surrounded by the three sacred peaks: Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Xialuoduojie. After this unforgettable pilgrimage, ride back to Yading Village and later enjoy a scenic drive back to Daocheng in the late afternoon.

    Activities for today: Chengdu Panda Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinli Ancient Street, airport transfer

    This morning, enjoy a 1-hour drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding for an up-close encounter with China's national treasure, the giant panda. By arriving early, we'll beat the crowds and long queues. After lunch (your own arrangement), we'll return to the city to explore the historic Jinli Ancient Street. Later, around 5:00 pm, we'll transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.

Private Transfers:
Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of LocalChengduTours. ZTG will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Meals:
All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
